As a teenager, the sudden death of her parents set her on a course that seemed to leave the violent tragedy behind. During her studies at the University of Minnesota, she was named one of the top 100 college seniors in the country and then went on to become the youngest director of marketing for a major hotel chain in the nation.
Such early success invited early burnout, and a dramatic switch in gears drew her to a Los Angeles to study acting. Rhonda has appeared in scores of national commercials and television sitcoms. But, succeeding in the entertainment business began to take its toll. The childhood tragedy she had thought she had overcome began to haunt her; her journey to heal began.
Throwing herself into just about everything the self-help and personal growth arena has to offer, her recovery took shape. Rhonda began coaching individuals and facilitating grief groups in Southern California while, at the same time, building her own thriving public relations company.
